The Technology of Curv®

Tartaruga is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts and city dwellers as the exclusive Curv® composite creates performance with an edge. The technology of Curv® comes from the molecular orientation of this unique and innovative material, which enables Tartaruga to deliver high-impact strength, performance, and abrasion resistance, whilst also being lightweight. In a patented process, layers of woven polycarbonate are compacted together to form a composite sheet. This process produces a self-reinforced material with stiffness, strength and an exceptionally high resistance to impact, even at very low temperatures.
